Marriage.... burden of lifetime
How important is marriage to a woman?
Something happened in the office yesterday bothered me so much......... Actually its just some stupid thing, however that got me thinking, does marriage really matter to women?
I mean yes, all of us need company, especially girls are sentitmental animals. We need love, caring, compliments, commitments.... but when it comes to the marriage, everything seems to be different: a divorced woman can be a shame sometimes and it can bring her alot of problems in real life.
The girl in my office, she is quiet and polite. I don't really know her but guess she won't attack other ppl or bad mouthing like other bitches (yes, I am talking abt U). According to the chinese tradtition, married ppl should give red pocket money to those who are not married. And yesterday, she was forced to give out red pockets. Those asses kept harassing her for tiny money. They kept saying: u r married! U should give us the red pockets!
Well, why the f**K should I mention if I am married? I mean, it doesn't really matter if a girl is married or not, we r in fact WORKING. We r not making friends here or trying to form a bond with others. If this is the case, why should I tell other ppl my relationship status?
It is really sad that divorced women r disreputable in chinese communities (yes, can u imagine that? its 2011 and its still so stubborn here). Ppl usually think if a girl is divorced, there should be something wrong with her. And for men... divorce does very little damage to them. Divorced men r still attractive and funny. Ppl dun really care if they had 12 ex-wife. If a man had many ex-lovers, his friends would be so envy of him and said he did a great job getting so many chicks.
How unfair. Women r always the one to be blamed in relationships. We r expected to do the household work and take care of the children, and today we should also contribute (which means make monies) for the family too... blah blah blah, why should we take so much responsibility and eventually we still got blamed for everything?
Yea I may be too negative again, however, it got me thinking that what actually do we seek in love? Is marriage just about marrying yr beloved? I truly doubt it.

週末大掃除時發現了這本畫集, 這套曾令我瘋狂的漫畫: 男兒當入樽
記得當年小小的我總是焦急地等待新一期出版，有時一等好幾個月等不到便去買貴貴的日本連載周刊。每一次看完後我都十分滿足地合上漫畫，然後很快忍不住再翻看。
內容笑中有淚，充滿鬥志，處處可見作者對籃球這運動的喜愛。Slam Dunk可謂漫畫界的經典，也間接影響了我喜歡NBA... 將來要是我有孩子，一定會把這套慢畫傳給他們。
如今我已經老大了，但書中的櫻木花道還是十幾歲的模樣，
在我心目中，他們永遠年輕
直搗蜂窩的女孩 The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest --- 2010
今天早上看的電影，千禧三部曲的最終回，吃過午餐忍不住立即趕回家寫博落: 我實在太太喜歡 Lizbeth Salander了!!
她不是一個嬌滴滴惹人憐愛的小女人。相反她倔強、勇敢、獨立、敢於挑戰權威，加上出神入化的黑客技術，Lizbeth 堪稱全世界女人的偶像!
戲中最 impressive 的是審判剛剛開始，女主角以一身極punk的打扮 ---- 鼻環、唇環、誇張的髮型和化妝及黑色皮衣褲進入法庭，當時庭內立即一片竊竊私語。正常來說當事人會盡量打扮得樸素以爭取陪審團好感，但女主角並沒有這樣做，因為，她就是她。
是的，對大眾來說 Lizbeth 是社會的怪胎，但她忠於自己，以她的本來面貌面對世人。平心而論，人都是容易妥協的動物，需要得到別人認同。儘管做了對的事，但當身邊的人都說自己做錯了，我相信很多人都會動搖，但女主角沒有。試問有幾多人能像Lizbeth 一樣有勇氣對抗全世界？最後Lizbeth 成功為自己討回公道，回復自由身。她的一切均來得不易，靠的是她的毅力和卑微的力量。

相比老美的書，歐洲人寫的小說內容更豐富更令人著迷。(呵呵，是崇洋又怎樣？) 實在太太太喜歡千禧三部曲系列了，可恨我在圖書館預約的小說還在 waiting list 上 (而且排名超後!!) 。唉，大概還是要掏腰包去買。
